About
The Dwelling Place is a gathering center for women of all ages who desire to find a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is our hope that here, young girls to those young at heart will find love, receive godly wisdom, and experience Christian fellowship with others from a vast background of denominations. This interdenominational ministry for the women of Holly and the surrounding areas is open to the public! Because God made us to be physical, emotional, and spiritual beings, we address each of these areas through a variety of classes and activities. Currently the ministry consists of a weekly Bible Study, a Book Talk, Scripture Workouts, a Walking Club, and “The War Room”-a prayer ministry.

We want to present them to God, perfect and mature in their relationship to Christ.

Our Beliefs
We believe in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ’s deity, eternally one with the Father, born of the Virgin Mary, the God-man who died for our sins, sinless humanity, rose from the dead and ascended to heaven.
We believe that the Bible is God’s infallible truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that all mankind needs a savior.
We believe that salvation by grace is a gift from God through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and empowers believers to a life of holiness, to grow in the likeness of Christ.
We are sealed by the Holy Spirit to an inheritance in Jesus Christ.
We believe that Christ is coming back to set up his kingdom here on earth.
We believe in the resurrection of the body; believers will receive eternal life in heaven and unbelievers will be destined to hell.

These 10 Statements of Faith are the foundation of our beliefs. The Bible (our basis for truth), is the inspired and infallible Word of God which we use as the final authority and source of what we believe and is the guidance to living out our life.
